HIPOWER SYSTEMS has more natural gas and diesel generators certified to the rigorous criteria of the Canadian Standards Organization than any other manufacturer. All of our products are also UL listed―the most exacting certification for power distribution and power generation equipment in the world.

Thanks to our precision engineering and Lean Six Sigma manufacturing practices, we can also manufacture these exceptional quality products on a faster timetable than that of our competitors. Furthermore, we select only the most reputable, quality-conscious vendors for the components we use in our generators and power distribution products―and in the accessories we sell.
All components are premium, from carbon steel and aluminum generator enclosures and stainless steel power panel cages to ABB and Square D circuit breakers and UL/CSA-listed power cables.
Our top-rated, fuel-efficient engines come from John Deere, Yanmar, MTU and PSI―the leading names in industrial engines.
We also use alternators from premium brands Newage and Marathon and cooling packs from RCP.
And, because engine-condition monitoring is critical to longevity and reliability, our generators are controlled by Deep Sea Electronics’ panels―the most technologically advanced, responsive control panels available.

All of this extraordinary engineering is wrapped in state-of-the-art enclosures with multiple layers of washable, rock-wool sound insulation, 110% spill containment, a variety of power distribution options―and all the other features educated buyers seek in today’s market. Finally, while we certainly don’t put appearance first, we must admit that the smart, contemporary styling of our equipment will look great on your―or your customer’s―work site.

Although HIPOWER SYSTEMS’ equipment powers operations in nearly every residential, commercial and industrial market segment, we have acquired a particularly impressive resume serving five core markets: Rental, Standby, Construction/Fabrication (Welding), Oil & Gas (O&G) and Service/Parts Replacement.

Rental:

We work with a network of rental companies that are more than customers―they are partners who keep us abreast of what their client-companies seek when they rent power generation and distribution equipment. That insight enables us to manufacture and sell products purpose-designed to satisfy the needs of the rental customer.

Standby:

With their best-in-class designs, superior sound containment and industry-leading quality and reliability, our enclosed generators are tailor made for the standby market. We understand that electrical interruptions can put businesses―and even lives―at risk. No manufacturer is better equipped to serve the entire standby generator market.

Construction/Fabrication:

The breadth of our equipment offering―and our expertise―gives us an unparalleled advantage in the construction and fabrication industries. From 2MW generators that can power the needs of a major industrial or commercial job site to a high-efficiency, trailer-mounted welding generator or a 50A spider box, we can cover virtually every possible power scenario.

Oil & Gas:

With O&G operations increasingly dependent upon generators for power in remote locations, starting and operating reliability is a foremost concern. The majority of our generators feature remote startup, monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities and all can be equipped to operate in temperatures as low as -50°F. An array of power distribution options enables our generators to serve as standalone “power plants”―whether for an unattended, automated drilling rig or a 5,000 person man-camp. We have very deep experience and expertise in all O&G applications, from fracking and drilling to plant shutdowns/turnarounds, and more.

Service/Parts Replacement:

Expert service and quality parts are fundamental to achieving longevity and ROI in any industrial product, and power equipment is no exception.
